Advertisement | A few days ago I uploaded a small paper-made X-mas tree on my Instagram page. So many of you wrote to me and asked for the instructions so I would like to show you here briefly. It is so simple that even kids can participate and it is a nice idea to decorate the Christmas table or a gift pack.

DIY
All you need is DIN A4 or DIN A5 paper and scissors. First, the paper is folded diagonally and the folded edge is smoothly flattened with the help of a pencil. Then, cut off the protruding rectangular strip. Turn the paper over and fold it crosswise and smooth it out. Then fold the paper horizontally crosswise.
•
The 4 corners are now bent inwards to fold the paper. Then bend the two upper wings inwardly, turn the paper and bend the other two wings equally.
•
Cut the lower end just like in the picture. Open the four triangle wings and bend the edges inwardly. This results in 8 wings. Fold 4 of them to the left side and 4 to the right side. With a 2 cm distance from the edges you cut horizontally about 5-10 mm. Fold the edges as shown and smooth it out with your thumb nail.
•
That’s it. Have fun!
